Serbia
Football hooligans associated with the former Yugoslav states rioted over the inter-ethnic resentments that were re-ignited by the breakup of the Yugoslav federation in the 1990s. The most prominent groups of hooligans are associated with
Belgrade and
Serbia's two main clubs,
Red Star Belgrade and
FK Partizan. They are known as the
Delije (Warriors) and
Grobari (Undertakers), respectively. These two terms also refer to the supporters of the two clubs.
FK Rad is a less-successful Belgrade club, whose associated hooligans, known locally as "
United Force", have notoriously been involved in many violent incidents.
